The SN74HC74DR is a type of flip-flop integrated circuit (IC) manufactured by Texas Instruments. It is a dual D-type positive edge-triggered flip-flop, with both a clock and a set/reset input. The clock input allows data to be propagated from a logic 0 input level to a logic 1 input level, and the set/reset enables preset and clear functions; it is also possible to preset and clear the flip-flop with a logic level. It is available in a DIP or SOP package with a wide range of supply voltage from 2-6V. This device has two outputs and is suitable for low-power, high-speed circuits.
