The SN74LS06D Hex Inverter Buffer/Driver made by Texas Instruments is a digital CMOS-based register providing six inverters with independent line drivers and buffers. This part is ideal for driving bus lines or for expanding the outputs from single logic gates.It features the 74LS06 family Inputs and outputs for each buffer which can be used to condition a single bus line and the logic level inversion capability of each buffer. The SN74LS06D also has OL (Open Load) and OS (Over-Speed) protection for the high speed circuits. Outputs can be used to make a simple latch or to construct a dynamic RAM memory. It has a propagation delay of 15 ns and a power dissipation of 350 mW. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C and the supply voltage range between 4.5 and 5.5V. This part is available in 14-pin small-outline (SO) and dual in-line (DIP) packages.
