The SN74LV04APWR is a six-stage, high-speed, Schmitt-Trigger inverter from Texas Instruments. It has a low-power consumption rate of 176 mW and a guaranteed operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. This device is great for automotive and industrial applications due to its low-voltage operation, high impedance outputs and low input and output current. It features open-drain outputs which are useful for level translation and switching applications. Active-low input levels are compatible with industry-standard TTL levels, while active-high input levels are compatible with logic families based on CMOS. Each output is equipped with an internal pull-up resistor to minimize external components. The device is available in the PowerPAD™ package, which further reduces power consumption and provides additional thermal dissipation.
