The THS8200PFP is a triple 10-bit all format video D/A converter IC manufactured by Texas Instruments. This part contains three 8-pin integrated circuits in a single package. It is designed to provide high-quality video signal conversion from digital to analog. It contains three independent and identical 10-bit D/A converters, which can convert luminance (Y), chrominance (C) and video (V) signals to analog signals. The THS8200PFP also includes an on-chip high performance charge-pump phase-locked loop and advanced video processing functionality, which allows the part to process video with resolution up to 1080p. Furthermore, the THS8200PFP utilizes pin 23, which allows the user to control the voltage levels being outputted for each of the output pins. This feature allows the user to set the levels to either 1.5 or 2.5 volts. Finally, the THS8200PFP incorporates several features to reduce power consumption.
