The TL2843BDR-8 with Switching Controllers Current Mode PWM Controller manufactured by Texas Instruments is a closed loop current-mode control IC designed for use in high performance switch mode power supplies. It is a high voltage, high speed PWM controller with an adjustable peak current mode architecture. This device is designed to drive switches such as MOSFETs, IGBTs and other bipolar transistors, and can be used in a variety of topologies including buck, boost, flyback and forward. It utilizes a voltage-mode control architecture which provides excellent transient response and system stability. Furthermore, it has over-current protection and line-overvoltage protection. The TL2843BDR-8 also includes a low component count, which helps reduce the bill of materials and enables size reduction of the overall solution.
