The TLC59108FIPWR with LED Lighting Drivers 8B Fast-Mode Plus I2C-Bus LED Driver manufactured by Texas Instruments is a high-performance LED driver capable of driving up to 8 LEDs. It features Control Master fast-modePlus (Fm+) technology for an improved I2C-bus communication speed and efficiency. It has the ability to set current from 0mA – 31.25mA for each LED as groups of 4 channels and 8 channels for minimum external components. The driver also features independent input and output supply voltages, which allows operation at the highest LED brightness with supplies as low as 2.7V. Additionally, it has direct channel-to-channel LED dimming capability and travel pattern control. Finally, the device has an integrated common serial register, which simplifies programming and integration into LED lighting applications.
