The TPS23734RMTR with Power Switch ICs is a high-efficiency, single-chip solution from Texas Instruments for Power over Ethernet (PoE) and Local Area Network (LAN) applications. The device is IEEE 802.3bt Type 3 Class 1-4 compliant and supports maximum PoE power of up to 90 W on four pairs of Category 5/6 or Category 6A network cables. Its wide DC voltage input range of 5 V to 10 V enables fast charging of high wattage devices, while its 45-VQFN package provides a small, low-profile footprint.
