The TPS549A20RVER is a DC-DC single-step-down converter manufactured by Texas Instruments. It is a 28-pin VQFN package suitable for surface mount on circuit board, and can be used to regulate a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 25V. This converter offers excellent design flexibility, with adjustable switching frequency (from 200kHz to 2MHz). Output voltage can be set precisely from 0.5V up to VIN via external resistive divider, as well as independently from input voltage and load variations. Additional features such as power good output and adjustable current limit, enable simple control and protect the system against over-current conditions.
