The TPS62136RGXT is a switching voltage regulator manufactured by Texas Instruments. It is a 1MHz High Accuracy 3V to 17V, 4.0A synchronous step-down converter with Eco-Mode or Forced PWM. It is a 11-VQFN-HR packaged product and is operational from -40 to 125 degrees Celsius. The TPS62136RGXT has a typical Efficiency of 94%, an initial accuracy of ±2.0%, and a programmable Output Over Voltage Protection (OVP) to guard against configuration inaccuracy. Its built-in Eco-Mode or Forced PWM function is activated by an UGATE pin. When activated, the regulator will only require a minimum of 30µA operating current and achieve 80% efficiency. The device also supports basic cycle-by-cycle current limiting protection and hiccup mode overcurrent protection. Additionally, there is an integrated soft-start current limit with programmable current limit up to 5.5A.
