The M8LC650 is a low cost, solder-ready, lead-free, consumer-grade, 8-pin surface mount area array packaged integrated circuit thermistor from Thermaltronics. It is available in two variants, the TH8LC65-B (NCN65 series) and the TH8LC650-D (NCP65 series). Its compact design makes it suitable for applications where space is at a premium. The M8LC650 is ideal for thermistor applications such as temperature measurement and control, over-temperature protection, and self-regulation circuits, among many others. Additionally, it provides a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C and have a high accuracy at ±2K. The M8LC650 has very low thermal resistance and self-heating, enabling reliable and accurate measurements, highly stable with low power consumption. It is rated to a maximum of 15V and 8A with a maximum dissipation power of 5 mW / °C.
