ElectronicsThe TLC-MSMD160 PTC Resettable Fuses 1812 RoHS manufactured by TLC Electronics is a multi-surface mount, low profile device designed to protect electronic circuits from high levels of current. The TLC-MSMD160 is composed of a metal oxide varistor (MOV) with a built-in Polymeric Positive Temperature Coefficient (PPTC) element. It works as a switch which opens up when the current levels exceed the specified level. It monitors the current levels over time and triggers the PPTC reset when the temperature of the MOV exceeds a preset limit. It features a low profile of 0.9 mm and a current rating of 15A/125VAC or 10A/250VAC. This part is RoHS compliant and is ideal for application in power supplies,dc motors, solid-state relays, industrial controls and more.
