The PGM5549-MP from Token Electronic is an isolator amplifier-receiver that is designed to interface with a variety of communication systems. It uses an integrated surface-mount package with very low power consumption and a high-efficiency, low-noise CMOS transmitter power amplifier to ensure optimum performance in noisy environments. This isolator amplifier-receiver has two opto-isolated channels and can be used in RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, and TTL systems. It features high speed data rate up to with 256 kbps and low propagation delay of 0.5µs. The PGM5549-MP also supports a wide voltage input range from ±12V to ±40V and can be supplied with +5V or +3.3V. It is housed in a surface-mount package.
