Additional Infomation About Product

The TLP2398(TPL,E(O is an optocoupler produced by Toshiba, which is a small solid-state device used to isolate an electric circuit from another circuit while allowing them to communicate. The optocoupler is a type of SMD-5 component, constructed in a 5-pin package that is compliant with RoHS standards. It features a semiconductor light source, typically an infrared LED, and a photosensitive element, which is a phototransistor. This optocoupler is capable of preventing high voltages in one circuit from damaging components in another while simultaneously providing signal transfer. It works by having the LED in the optocoupler transmit light to the phototransistor, which then activates the switch. This optocoupler offers superior noise immunity (due to an open collector output) and isolation voltage of 3000 Vrms for one minute.
