This is a black nylon plastic spiral cable gland manufactured by Trelleborg. It is rated at IP55, which means it is protected against dust, as well as protections against water jets from any direction, and is suitable for use in harsh or hazardous environments. The casing is made from high quality materials and offers a minimum environmental protection of RAL 9005, meaning it is UV-stabilised, UV-resistant and resistant to abrasion and impact, providing a very long service life. The gland can accommodate cable diameters from 4mm to 16mm and thread sizes from 12 to 18mm. It has a secured locking thread and can be used with flat and all PA7 cables.
