The 12EG6 is a miniature, audio-frequency, twin triode vacuum tube. It was originally manufactured in the 1960s, and is now obsolete. It has a 9-pin miniature base and is often used in guitar or amplifier applications. It has a gain factor of 395 and a maximum anode voltage of 250 volts. Its maximum cathode current is 70mA with a maximum anode dissipation of 1.7 Watts. It has a typical plate resistance of 60K Ohms and a grid leak resistance of 45 Ohms. The 12EG6 has two sections, each of which provides two elements: the control grid and the plate.
