6AU4GTA Tubes

The 6AU4GTA is a miniature dual triode vacuum tube (also known as a thermionic valve in the UK). It was designed in the late 1940s and is still widely used in various audio amplifiers, valve organs, and other musical instruments today. It was designed as a high-power audio amplifier and was also used in some early television sets. It is designed to be used as a voltage amplifier and as an impedance converter for professional audio applications. It features an octal-type base and is often referred to as a “JAN” or “Joint Army Navy” tube due to its military origins. The 6AU4GTA tube has a plate voltage of 250V and an anode current of 4.0mA, with a maximum plate dissipation of 12.5W.
