Additional Infomation About Product

The EVK-U201SARA with GPS Development Tools HSPA SARA-U201 evaluation kit is an embedded development platform from U-Blox, an industry leader in manufacturing satellite navigation and positioning products. This evaluation kit includes a SARA-U201 cellular Module, which is a quad-band HSPA cellular modem, with integrated GPS receiver for easy development, prototyping and testing of applications for cellular Internet of Things (IoT) applications. It also provides dedicated hardware and external antennas to enable GPS navigation and positioning capabilities. Furthermore, the evaluation kit is also compatible with U-Blox’s proprietary localisation technologies such as A-GPS, CellLocate Indoor Positioning, and automated Time to First Fix (TTFF) measurement mode to reduce power requirements while achieving accuracy in positioning. With the EVK-U201SARA, users are able to sample the various communication protocols, such as the Generic Access Network (GAN) protocol, used by the modem and can quickly develop and test applications and products for a wide range of geographical locations and applications.
