The AR12BTC5601N is an E/P positioner from Viking, a manufacturer of industrial control systems. This device controls the position of a valve actuator with actual feedback from an external sensor. It features an advanced control logic that eliminates the need for external control devices, allowing for simpler and more reliable control of process variables such as temperature and pressure. It has an integrated non-contact potentiometer for controlling valve position and also includes a diagnostics feature that flags errors and alarms. The AR12BTC5601N is rated for use with up to 1450 ft-lb of output torque in hazardous area locations and includes several mounting options.
