The CQY37N is an infrared emitters GaAs IR emitter diode manufactured by Vishay. It is an epitaxial planar device with an emission peak wavelength of 880 nm. It has a typical forward voltage of 1.2 V, and a maximum reverse leakage current of 5 µA. It has a power dissipation of 100 mW and an angle of half intensity of ±17 degrees. This device is housed in a clear, dome-shaped molded package with four leads. The CQY37N is commonly used in infrared data transmission applications, laser diode drivers, displays, and remote control systems.
