The IRF640SPBF is a N-channel power MOSFET (metal–oxide–semiconductor field-effect transistor) manufactured by Vishay that features an entirely lead-free package, the PowerPAK® SO-8FL. It offers an on-resistance of 4.6 ohms, making it suitable for use as a power switch in applications such as motor controls, DC/DC converters, and general-purpose switching operations, both in low- and high-voltage applications. It has a continuous drain current rating of 10A, maximum pulsed drain current of 30A (90A for a single pulse), and a maximum drain-source voltage of 100V. It also features a fast switching speed of 11.5ns, allowing it to quickly switch power on and off.
