The PR03000204700JAC00 is a 470 ohm ±5% 3 watt through hole axial resistor with a flame retardant coating, fusible, and a safety metal film manufactured by Vishay. The resistor is composed of a cylindrical metal body with leads connected to the component’s end caps. The flame retardant coating is designed to protect surrounding components from heat damage in the event of a short-circuit or other malfunction. The resistor also features a fusible, or self-resetting, element that can be used to reset the component in case of a fault. Finally, the safety metal film provides additional protection from high voltages and other external hazards.
