The VLMG1300-GS08 is a miniaturized, surface-mount light-controlled MOSFET-based switch module developed by Vishay. The module features an integrated channel MOSFET, optical detector, filter circuit, and integrated protection. The module is designed to be a low-footprint, low-power solution for applications requiring compact and efficient switching. The optics are tuned to detect light in the 940nm to 1100nm wavelength range, making the switch suitable for powered optical systems such as infrared cameras. It provides a maximum ON/OFF speed of 0.3ms with a typical input/output current of up to 0.5A. The module is RoHS-compliant for use in lead-free applications, and is available in a SOT-23-5 package.
