The VS1053B-L is a highly integrated audio processor IC from VLSI. It incorporates a powerful processor core, supporting up to 24-bit/192kHz audio data resolution. The IC is capable of recording, playback, decoding, and streaming various audio formats, including WAV, AIFF, MP3, WMA, AAC, Ogg Vorbis and FLAC. Additionally, the chip provides four independent stereo channels for full-duplex audio mixing and sampling. The IC also contains a programmable DSP for EQ, audio effects processing and signal routing. Finally, it has an on-board 3.3V regulator, providing a reliable power source for a wide range of applications.
