XK-AVB-LC-SYS is a reference design created by XMOS, a silicon solutions provider. The XK-AVB-LC-SYS (AVB for Audio Video Bridging) is designed for implementing Ethernet audio video bridging solutions. The reference design includes a number of software components, such as XMOS sound isolator and sound router, an audio-video bridging (AVB) interface controller, and the XK-AVB-LC-CPU module. The reference design also includes a number of hardware components required to complete an AVB system, such as transformers, detectors, MII (Media-Independent Interface) connectors, and PHY (PHysical Layer) chips. The XK-AVB-LC-SYS is designed for use in small form-factor systems and provides low-cost, low-power AVB connectivity solutions.
