The XB5332B is a high-performance, low-power, and RoHS-compliant Battery Management IC that is manufactured by XySemi. It features a SOT23-5 package with five pins and is designed for use in lithium-ion battery packs or supercapacitor packs. The chip has built-in protection features such as over-voltage, over-current, over-temperature, and short-circuit protection. It also has an under-voltage lockout function to ensure safe charging and discharging operations. Additionally, it has many other features to provide enhanced pack protection and better system performance such as: wide input voltage range and current ranges for cell balancing, cell identification, open thermistor detection, cell reversal protection, and many additional features for advanced cell protection.
