Additional Infomation About Product

The Yageo 3RM075L-8 is a Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) with RoHS compliance. This component uses a three-terminal design to protect sensitive equipment from high-energy transients. It is composed of two metal electrodes sealed within a cylindrical glass shell, which act as one plate of a capacitor when a current is applied. When the current exceeds the operational breakdown voltage, a switching arc will occur, allowing excess energy to be discharged, thus protecting the circuit from further damage. The 3RM075L-8 GDT has a through-hole mounting style, require a minimum voltage of 360V, and a maximum breakdown voltage of 450V. It is encased in an epoxy powder coated metal shell for additional protection.
