Additional Infomation About Product

The 3RM470L-8 is a surface mounted Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) with Through-Hole pins manufactured to be RoHS compliant by Yageo. It is designed for transient voltage suppression in applications such as electrical circuits with short-term overvoltage protection. The GDT is a bidirectional device, meaning it can suppress spikes coming both from positive and negative sources. Characteristic features of the part include a 3 terminal construction, high surge current capability, and fast response time. It is rated to withstand an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. Furthermore, it can be used to provide common-mode protection from electrostatic discharge (ESD) up to 16kV or surge protection up to 8kA.
