The BK12009002-H with Discharge Tubes (GDT/TSS) Axial RoHS manufactured by Yageo is a Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) designed to protect circuits from high voltage transient events. It features a ceramic base, internal connection, and integral ground. It features a ceramic cylinder enclosure, rated for 600V up to 8kA. It is RoHS-compliant and can be used in applications that require a high degree of protection against over-voltage transients. The discharge tube is axial and is designed to be used in both AC and DC acting applications. It is widely used as a surge arrester for telecoms, industrial Ethernet, and data transmission lines.
