Additional Infomation About Product

The Yageo BK23000702 Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) Axial is a RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant, two-terminal device. It is designed to protect sensitive circuits, particularly in the event of voltage transients such as those caused by lightning or switching transients, by conducting current away from sensitive components. The GDT is constructed with an axial lead, with an insulating sleeve over the leads. The component features a polymeric insulating sleeve and nylon thermoplastic dielectric. It is capable of 0.5 mA current rating at 30 V and an impulse current rating of 8 kA peak.
