MB4S is a physics-based scientific computing and engineering workflow development platform created by Yangjie Li, a Professor of High-Performance Computing at Tsinghua University. It’s designed to help engineers optimize the numerical analysis process in their workflow. MB4S is mainly used for robotics, autonomous vehicles, engineering simulations such as multibody dynamics control and navigation, and physical computing applications such as intelligent structures. It provides users with three types of modules: parameter optimization, numerics optimization, and flow optimization. Parameter optimization lets users find the optimum physical parameters for the project; numerics optimization helps them understand the hidden behavior of their systems; and flow optimization helps them put the pieces together for an efficient workflow.
