The SPD9231A-2/TR with SMA Thyristor Surge Suppressors (TSS) ROHS device manufactured by Will Semiconductor is a protector device for protecting electronic equipment from damaging transients such as lightning, electrical spikes, and other surge. It is constructed of two N-channel power MOSFETs and two thyristors in a common SMA package. The SPD9231A-2/TR can handle up to 1500W peak power, providing fast response when subjected to surge pulses at sensitive electronic components. It is RoHS compliant and meets the requirements of UL1449 standards. The device is suitable for circuit protection of DC/DC converters, rectifiers, power supplies, and telecommunications systems.
