About Automotive Connectors
Automotive Connectors
Automotive connectors are components of a vehicle's electrical system that allow power, electrical signals and data to be safely and reliably transmitted between respective systems. Connectors are often used to link the main power supply, wherever the engine is located, to all the other electrical systems within the vehicle. These systems can include brakes, transmission, steering and climate control. Different types of automotive connectors are used for different purposes, and the style, number and location of connectors can vary depending on the make and model of the vehicle. Automotive connectors can include connectors for devices such as headlamps, sensors, lights, power tools, and other devices that may be built in to the vehicle. They are usually designed for use in an automotive environment, and as such must be able to withstand all the extreme conditions that driving may present.
