Time Delay & Timing Relays
Time Delay & Timing Relays are electro-mechanical relays which activate the output circuit when the input contacts are energised and the preset time duration has expired. When the input contacts close, the time delay begins and the output contacts will not close until the preset time has been reached. Time delay relays are used in electronic circuits as a means of delaying an electrical signal or to create an intermittent pulse. Timing relays are used to activate and maintain start/stop operations such as automatic doors, traffic lights, industrial equipment and many other applications. They allow multiple actions to be completed in a particular sequence without the need for an external timer.
