Position Sensor Modules
Position sensor modules are devices used to measure the position of an object or to detect movement. They are often found in automation applications, such as robots and automated machining systems, and can be used to measure the position of a robotic arm or the speed of a motor. Position sensor modules typically consist of an encoder or a resolver that translates the position of an object into a digital signal. Some of the common types of position sensor modules include linear position sensors, rotary position sensors, and optical encoders. These modules often interface with a controller or an instrumentation system to facilitate the positioning of an object or the detection of movement.
