LED replacement lamps are energy-efficient bulbs which are typically used as replacements for traditional incandescent bulbs or fluorescent lighting systems. A LED replacement lamp, also known as an LED retrofit lamp, is designed to fit into existing fixtures in order to reduce energy and maintenance costs. They typically use 80% less electricity, last up to 25 times longer, have higher color rendering index (CRI) than incandescent bulbs, and don't contain hazardous chemicals. LED replacement lamps also help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, carbon dioxide, and air pollution.
