Standard LEDs, also known as SMD LEDs (Surface Mount Deive LEDs), are small components made from a light-emitting diode which have been embedded in a circuit board. These LEDs are extremely versatile and can be used for a variety of different applications, from simple light displays on consumer electronics to sophisticated lighting systems in businesses. Standard LEDs are often used for illuminated signage, street lighting, automotive and transportation systems and other commercial applications. Unlike traditional incandescent light bulbs, standard LEDs consume less energy and have a much longer lifespan. They are also highly durable and efficient when compared to other LED and lighting technologies.
