Industrial control transformers are electrical transformers used in a variety of industrial applications to convert voltage and current to specified levels, based on the specific system needs. They are usually used to step up/down line voltage, transform phase power and/or provide isolation of control panel components from the power source. Industrial control transformers also help reduce electrical noise, prevent current overloads and improve system safety. Other applications include the powering of a motor control center, motor soft-start applications, motor drive filter elements, and filter coils.
