About Operational Amplifiers - Op Amps
Operational Amplifiers - Op Amps
Operational Amplifiers, or Op Amps, are electronic circuits that are used to amplify an input signal to a larger output signal. They are typically used to boost weak signals, increase voltage and create various filter circuits. Op Amps can also be used to implement complex functions such as integral and derivative (I&D) functions, adders, subtractors etc. Op Amps are made up of one or more transistors and several active and passive devices connected in a circuit that follows feedback principles. The op amp can, depending on the circuit design, have a very large amplification factor and a large dynamic range, making it suitable for most applications.
