Analog Devices Special Purpose Amplifiers

Special purpose amplifiers are amplifiers which are designed for a specific purpose or application. These amplifiers are generally engineered for high-precision and specialized functions that are not achievable through general-purpose amplifier solutions. Examples of special purpose amplifiers include operational amplifiers (op-amps), instrumentation/precision amplifiers, and differential line amplifiers. Special purpose amplifiers can offer features such as high CMRR, rail-to-rail input/output ranges, voltage or current feedback control, low distortion, and low noise. These amplifiers are often used in applications where accuracy and stability are of prime importance such as medical imaging, test equipment, industrial automation, and military.
