Hyperstone Memory Controllers
A memory controller is a chip responsible for interfacing between the memory subsystem (RAM, ROM, and/or flash memory) and the CPU or main system logic. It supports a variety of functions such as providing access to RAM, refreshing RAM, controlling write operations to RAM, and performing error correction on RAM data. It may also be responsible for power management of the memory system. Memory controllers are usually integrated onto the motherboard or Northbridge chip.
