The DW01 is a Battery Protection IC SOT-23-6 RoHS manufactured by Hottech. It is a member of Hottech's SI8100BDM-T1G family of battery protection ICs. The device improves the safety and improves the operation of the protected load. It can prevent current surges and overcharging by controlling the charge current and charge voltage, and it can also prevent discharge current overloading and over-discharging. It can monitor the voltage polarity and the capacity of the load with its unique SOC capacity report algorithm. The DW01 is RoHS compliant and has an ultra-low quiescent current, making it ideal for battery powered applications. The device offers great flexibility in design, as it can be configured for various charge currents and voltages. It has a wide range of input and output voltage range, providing enhanced accuracy and protection.
