Audio sensors are devices that detect sound and convert it into an electrical signal. They are used in many different applications, such as telephones, home security systems, and automotive safety systems. The most common type of audio sensor is the microphone, which converts sound into electrical signals that can be amplified to a useable level. Other types of audio sensors include laser microphones and acoustic detectors. Audio sensors are used to detect noise levels, to measure and record sound, and to create virtual surround sound.
