An Inclinometer is a device used to measure the inclination or tilt in multiple planes. It is typically used for navigation and navigation stabilization. There are many types of inclinometers, each tailored to a different application, from gyroscopic sensors used in aircraft navigation systems to tilt angle sensors used in industrial applications. More commonly, inclinometers are used for measuring angles between two surfaces or objects, measuring angles of banking and curves and angles of declines in hills and valleys. Inclinometers are exceptionally useful in the fields of navigation and navigation stabilization.
