About Test Sockets

Pomona Test Sockets

Test sockets enable a system to connect to a device to test it. Test sockets are used in the production of electronics, specifically to enable testing of a component before and after assembly. They are also known as test jigs, and require the use of specialized probe pins. Test sockets are used to ensure electrical performance, continuity and integrity of the device, as well as its compatibility with other parts.
