Sparkfun Robotics Kits
Robotics kits are sets of components and instructions that enable users to build and operate robots from scratch or from pre-assembled components. Kits typically include an assortment of motors, servos, wheels, gears, and other components such as wiring, metal components, and plastic parts. The instructions often include a step-by-step guide to building your robot, along with instructions on how to program a microcontroller (the brains behind the robot) and how to connect the various sensors and electronics. Once built, a robot can be programmed to do a variety of tasks, such as picking up and moving objects, navigating its environment and responding to external stimuli. Some kits also come with other items such as remote controls, waterproof enclosures, and various types of sensors.
