Eaton Corporation was formerly known as Eaton Yale & Towne Inc. and changed its name to Eaton Corporation in April 1971. The company was founded in 1911 and is based in Cleveland, Ohio. Eaton Corporation operates as a subsidiary of Eaton Corporation plc.
