Allows for minimal clean-up. Even after outdoor exposure, black will hold well for up to six months as is less prone to leave adhesive residue compared to conventional duct tapes. Red, green and yellow colors can be used outdoors up to one month. Embossed vinyl backing is easy to tear and conforms well to irregular surfaces. Since it contains no cloth scrim, there are no exposed thread ends to wick water into adhesive layer. If the adhesive side of the tape comes in contact with itself, it can be pulled apart so the tape is not wasted. Typically used at room temperature, but will remove cleanly when applied to a painted steel surface and heated up to 250F (121C) for up to one hour. Rubber adhesive sticks well to many substrates. Unwinds easily off the roll. Color-coding, non-critical masking, wrapping and bundling. Protection from abrasion, temporary repairs and general maintenance activities. Applications requiring low flame spread and smoke developed indices. Applications requiring low leachable halogens, sulfur and mercury. Storage Store under normal conditions of 60 to 80F (16 to 27C) and 40 to 60% R.H. in the original carton.
