Check that slotted cover is forward. for cable location C. Place and push cover against cover stop. on 3M Fixture D. Push cover down and behind the cover lock. Unit 3829-02. Slide cover lock in to close and locate th e co ve r position. Backshells -- remember to put them on. Cable and Connector Termination Step One Cable preparation expose approximately three inches of cable. Position wires in cover slot by spreading individual wires into color groups as directed by your wiring diagram. Position 3M Fixture Unit 3829-02 in 3M Hand Press 3829. Hold the cable in the cable clamp by tightening this knob. Place cable into the clamp to start the assembly process.
