The AMEL5-5SJZ-ST is a five watt, single output, isolateddc/dc converter manufactured by Aimtec. It is a miniature, 2” by 2”, surface-mount device with a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. This device features a wide 4:1 input voltage range making it suitable for use in both industrial and commercial applications. The output voltage is adjustable from 3.3V to 5.5V, and it offers line/load regulation of ±3.5%, and isolation up to 1576Vdc. It also provides a very low no-load power consumption of less than 0.15W. It has an intelligent thermal design that is both cool and efficient. It is able to deliver up to 5.0 Watts of continuous output power without any additional heatsinking. The AMEL5-5SJZ-ST is approved to the safety standards EN 60950-1:2006 +A11:2009, UL 60950-1 and CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 60950-1-07.
