MAX16122MAX16125 Dual Pushbutton Controllers in Tiny 6-Bump WLP Package General Description Benefits and Features The MAX16122MAX16125 pushbutton controllers with Low Supply Current: < 5A (typ) at 3V Over single-supply monitors monitor one or two pushbuttons and Temperature generate a hard reset signal if the buttons are pushed and Precision Factory-Set V Monitoring Threshold for CC held for a setup delay. These devices make it easy to hide 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5V Supplies the hard reset function in an existing pushbutton, such as a Fixed/Pin-Programmable or Resistor-Adjustable soft power switch. The devices operate from 1.6V to 5.5V Pushbutton Setup Delay and consume a quiescent current of only 5A at 3V. Up to 2 Reset Outputs and 2 Debounced Pushbutton The MAX16122MAX16125 have pin-programmable or Inputs resistor-adjustable setup delay. Connect the SEL pin to GND, V , or leave it unconnected to select the different CC Guaranteed RESET Valid for V Down to 0.95V CC setup delays (depending on part suffix, see Table 1a) or Active-Low RESET Output (Push-Pull or Open-Drain) connect an external resistor from SEL to GND to set the Immune to Short Power-Supply Transients setup delays (E suffix only, see Table 1b). 0.86mm x 1.25mm 6-Bump WLP Package The MAX16124/MAX16125 have one manual reset input (MR), a reset output (RESET), and a soft reset output -40C to +125C Operating Temperature Range (SRESET) which mirrors the state of the input. The Applications MAX16122/MAX16123 have two identical manual reset inputs (MR1 and MR2) and one reset output (RESET). A Smartphones deglitch block is connected to each input to add a delay to Tablet PCs the falling edge with a fixed deglitch period of 20ms (t ). DB eBook Readers The devices feature a comparator that monitors the Portable/Battery-Powered Equipment input supply voltage. A variety of factory-trimmed threshold Glucose Monitors/Patient Monitors options accommodate different supply voltages and Portable Instrumentation tolerances, eliminating external components. The factory- set reset thresholds range from 1.58V to 4.63V to monitor 5V, 3.3V, 2.5V, and 1.8V supplies. Ordering Information appears at end of data sheet. The MAX16122MAX16125 are offered in a tiny 0.86mm x 1.25mm, 6-bump WLP package and are specified over the automotive temperature range (-40C to +125C).
